QR Studio is a fully client-side tool. Your QR codes are generated entirely in your browser — no data is ever sent to our servers. We do not collect personal information, we do not store QR codes, and we do not use tracking cookies. What you create stays with you.
Who we are
QR Studio is a free, browser-based QR code generator available at qr-studio.app. We provide tools that allow anyone to create custom QR codes for personal and commercial use, free of charge and without registration.

What data we collect
We collect no personal data from users of the QR code generator. Specifically:
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact details
- We do not store the content you enter into the QR generator
- We do not store or log the QR codes you generate
- We do not require you to create an account or sign in
- We do not track your individual behaviour across sessions
All QR code generation happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing is transmitted to our servers during the generation process.
Cookies & tracking
QR Studio itself does not set any cookies and does not use any tracking technologies such as pixels, fingerprinting or persistent identifiers for the core tool.
However, our website may display third-party advertisements. These advertisers may use cookies or tracking technologies governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services you encounter on our site.
How we use your data
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to use, sell, or share. We do not:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share your data with advertisers
- Use your data for profiling or automated decision-making
- Transfer your data outside the EU/EEA
Standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, page visited, timestamp) may be retained for up to 30 days for security and performance monitoring purposes. These logs are not linked to individual identities and are deleted automatically.

Third-party services
QR Studio loads the following third-party resources to function correctly:
- Google Fonts — fonts loaded from
fonts.googleapis.com. Google may log requests. See Google's Privacy Policy. - Cloudflare CDN — the QRCode.js library is loaded from Cloudflare's CDN. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
These services have their own privacy policies and we have no control over their data practices.
Children's privacy
QR Studio is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of QR Studio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Significant changes will be announced via a notice on the QR Studio homepage.
